Congratulations to Station 4-2!

The officers and members of the Salisbury Township Fire Company #1 would like to congratulate our neighbors, the Gap Fire Company, on their 100th Anniversary and housing of their new Pierce Arrow XT/Mega PUC Rescue Pumper.\
\
On Saturday, September 25, Station 4-2 hosted a celebration and housing at the firehouse. On display were all of Station 4-2’s apparatus, apparatus from neighboring fire companies, as well as historical items. Items such as books, patches and tee shirts were available for purchase to mark the special day.\
\
After the first part of the ceremonies featuring remarks and presentations, it was time to house Rescue 4-2. Station 4-9 was one of the housing companies. During our push, Rescue 4-2 was backed in to the firehouse with Lieutenant Steinmetz driving, Chief Gossert riding the officers seat, and Station 4-9’s firefighters “pushing” the Rescue in.\

We wish Gap the best of luck with the new Rescue 4-2!
