On the evening of Thursday, May 6, Squad 4-9 traveled to the Bird-In-Hand Family Restaurant to be on public display as part of the Annual Fire & EMS Appreciation Week festivities. Each night, Monday through Friday, different equipment was on display, and different activities were offered to the public. Upon arrival, the Squad staged in front of the restaurant along Old Philadelphia Pike (Route 340)\

Wednesday evening we participated in the annual Zone 4 Competition (please see separate story), which is hosted by the Restaurant as part of the week’s festivities. Thursday evening we went up to display Squad 4-9 to the public, and answer questions.\
