The Salisbury Township Fire Company is a 100% volunteer organization that relies on the generosity of our community to keep us operating.\
\
We do not receive any funding from dedicated fire or EMS taxes.\
\
All of our operating expenses, such as gas, electric & phone bills, general maintenance, and capital expenditures for things like fire apparatus and equipment are generated by donations. We realize that residents and businesses are often on a tight budget, and we are extremely appreciative of what you can donate to us.\
\
Please remember that your donations are tax deductible.\
\
The company plans for 2011, funds received will support our general fund for our annual expenses.\
\
During 2010 we signed agreements and made the purchase of new breathing airpacks for our firefighters and a new breathing air compressor/cascade system to refill the airpacks. The total cost was $126,000.00. The airpacks and cascade system have very recently arrived at the station, and we are currently undergoing training for the equipment before it is placed in service, as well as making adjustments to the fire station and fire apparatus for the new purchases.\
\
We are also looking to the future. In 2014 it will be time to replace a truck and we are actively saving for that purchase. Like everyone in the community, we feel the pain of the economic problems and ask you to contribute what you can, we are the cheapest insurance you can buy to protect your family and property.\
\
We are here to serve and protect our community, but we can not do it alone. We are a 100% volunteer organization, and we survive solely on the support of our community.\
\
