Engine and Squad assist on Atglen feed mill fire

At approximately 2:45PM on Sunday, March 20, Chester County 911 dispatched unts from the Atglen Fire Company (Station 26) and surrounding companies to the 100 block of Liberty Street in Atglen Borough for a commercial building fire. \

Units arrived with a smouldering grain bin. The companies were on the scene the previous Friday for a fire in the same bin. The companies worked throughout the afternoon to remove the smouldering material.\

At 5:57PM, Engine 4-9-1 was dispatched to assist with fresh manpower. Engine 1 responded a couple of minutes later, soon followed by Squad 4-9 with additional manpower.\

Upon arrival, the 4-9 units were directed to the manpower staging area, where crews assisted with interior operations, and with helping to wrap up hoselines.\

Engine 4-9-1 and Squad 4-9 were released from the scene and returned to White Horse at 7:53PM.\
