Vehicle accident on Buena Vista Road

At 6:57 PM on Saturday, May 30, Station 4-9, along with Medic 9, were dispatched to the intersection of Buena Vista and Cains Roads in the Buena Vista section of Salisbury Township for a vehicle accident.\
Responding units were advised by Lancaster County 911 of a single truck that rolled and that the driver was out walking around.\

EMS Captain 4-9 (Lantz) arrived on the scene, and after evaluating the truck driver, canceled Medic 9. Engine 4-9-1 arrived on the scene and controlled scene hazards and assumed Command. Ambulance 4-9 arrived and examined the patient further, whom fortunately, was not injured. Squad 4-9 diverted traffic from the scene on the west side of the collision.\

The incident is under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police. M&N Towing from Parkesburg removed the truck from the crash scene.\

The final 4-9 units cleared the scene at 7:48PM.\
