Upper Leacock Township Rural Water Supply Drill

On the evening of June 15, Tanker 4-9 participated in a Rural Water Supply Drill on Gibbons Road in Upper Leacock Township. The drill was hosted by Station 4-1.\

The event was a simulated barn fire, in which water was drafted from local creeks in three different locations and shuttled by tanker trucks to the drill site, where it was pumped into the “fireground”, where Engine 4-1-1, Engine 4-10-2, and Truck 6-3 sprayed the water on to the farm grounds.\
