Tanker assists at Earl Township barn fire

At 3:17AM on the Liberty Fire Company of New Holland (Station 3-9), along with mutual aid, was dispatched to the 700 block of Maple Grove Road in Earl Township for a barn fire. Lancaster County Communications was reporting multiple calls for a chicken house on fire, with propane tanks beside the barn. An officer from the New Holland Police was three miles out confirming a working fire. At 3:27 the second alarm was struck, bring additional units to the scene, including Tanker 4-9. The fire was placed under control at 4:11, with Tanker 4-9 clearing the scene at 4:35. The final fire units cleared at 6:50AM\
