Station runs two calls during Chicken Barbecue

Station 4-9 answered two calls for assistance during our annual Chicken Barbecue on May 16.\

At 9:42AM, Squad 4-9 and Ambulance 4-9 responded to the 5400 block of Meadville Road in Salisbury Township for a public assist (medical). Both units cleared shortly after 10:00AM.\

At 12:06 PM, The station was dispatched to the intersection of Springville and Meetinghouse Roads in Salisbury Township for a vehicle accident. Units arrived to find a two vehicle accident blocking the intersection, with moderate damage to both vehicles. Engine 4-9-1 controlled scene hazards, while Ambulance 4-9 obtained refusals from 4 persons. Units cleared the scene shortly before 1PM. The Pennsylvania State Police investigated the incident.\
