Ambulance and Fire Police assist at Honey Brook accident with heavy entrapment

At 2:37 PM on Friday, January 29, Ambulance 49-1 was dispatched to assist the Honey Brook Fire Company on a vehicle accident with heavy entrapment at the intersection of Compass Road (Route 10) and Beaver Dam Road in Honey Brook Township.
Units were on location with a lift on a trailer that was tipped over on a pickup truck. A heavy wrecker was utilized to lift the boom off of the truck.
Station 49 fire police were dispatched to assist at 2:51 PM with closing down the roadways surrounding the incident.
The patient was extricated at 3:20 PM and was flown by PennStar to a local trauma center for treatment.
