On the brisk evening of Wednesday, November 29, Engine 4-9-1 and a few members of the Fire Police traveled to Honey Brook to participate in the Honey Brook Lions’ Club Annual Halloween parade. The parade was originally scheduled for Monday evening, and much like Game 5 of the World Series, was postponed until Tuesday evening due to the driving rain that covered southeastern Pennsylvania on Monday. As Tuesday rolled around, again like the World Series, the weather was not in the best interest for a parade, and it was again postponed until Wednesday evening.\

The parade started at Schnure Manufacturing on Suplee Road, and traveled west on Route 322 through Honey Brook Borough, traveled south on Railroad Avenue, and ended at the Honey Brook Fire Company on Firehouse Lane. After the parade, everyone was invited to the engine bays of the fire house, where the Lions’ Club treated to cookies and cider.\

The parade itself featured the Twin Valley High School band, various floats, local organizations, local businesses, police from Honey Brook Borough and the Pennsylvania State Police, and fire apparatus from Honey Brook, White Horse, Wagontown, Glenmoore, and Twin Valley The fire apparatus also provided lighting for the parade itself. The judges stand was in front of the Shell gas station on Route 322.\

After the end of the parade passed, Engine 4-9-1 joined in the parade until the end of the parade route.
