Electric/ gas hybrid vehicle training

On the evening of Tuesday, February 22, members of the White Horse and Gap Fire Companies met at Station 4-9 for a training seminar on Ford Electric/ Gas hybrid vehicles.\

The first half of the evening consisted of a PowerPoint presentation covering the construction of Ford Hybrids, as well as the do’s and dont’s of what to do when operating at a vehicle accident or fire involving a Ford Hybrid.\

The second half of the evening, members adjourned to the engine bay, where a Ford Fusion Hybrid was on display, for everyone to examine hands on.\
