Station 49 & Ambulance 4-9 were dispatched in the early morning hours for a vehicle accident in the area of Wanner Rd & Red Hill Rd.\

Assistant 49 (Fisher) & Engine 49-1 (Capt. Stoltzfus) made the response with additional information of 1 vehicle into a field.\
\
Units arrived to find a pickup truck approximately 100 – 150 feet off the roadway into a cornfield with 1 patient lying behind the truck. Crews disconnect the battery while EMTs from Engine 49-1 assisted with patient care.\
\
Medic 9 was dispatched to assist the Ambulance.\
\
Patient care was turned over to Ambulance 4-9 and patient was transported to the local ER.\
\
Crews then remained on scene while PSP investigated the crash and to assist with clean up.\
\
Assistant 49 had Wanner Road Command.\
