Cut Road dwelling fire

At 1:36PM on Monday, July 26, Station 4-9, along with mutual aid companies, were dispatched to the 200 block of Cut Road in Salisbury Township for a dwelling fire.\

Lancaster County Communications advised the responding units for a bedroom on fire, reporting that everyone was out of the residence.\

Units arrived with a working fire on the southeast corner of the second floor. Engine 4-9-1 began fire attack, while Engine 4-9-2 laid its entire load of supply line (1500 feet) up the driveway from Cut Road. Tanker 4-9 assisted suppling the scene with water. Ambulance 4-9 stood-by in case they were needed.The fire was brought under control within a half hour, with the companies performing overhaul on the dwelling.\

The final units cleared the scene at 3:37PM.\
