July 21, 2021

On the afternoon of July 21, Engine 49-1 was dispatched to transfer to Wagontown's firehouse as Station 35 and other local companies battled a multi-alarm dwelling fire at the intersection of Hibernia and Lafayette Roads in West Brandywine Township.

Several minutes later, the alarm was upgraded and Engine 49-1 was directed to the incident. Tanker 49 was also part of this upgrade. Just shy of an hour later, Engine 49-2 was dispatched as part of the additional alarms.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by numerous Local, County, State, and Federal agencies.
