Two alarm house fire on Old Philadelphia Pike

On Saturday, May 18, at 10:49AM, as volunteers were at the station during the annual chicken barbecue, Station 49 and assisting companies were alerted to a house fire in the 5200 block of Old Philadelphia Pike in Salisbury Township.

Lancaster County 911 was reporting multiple calls reporting a fully engulfed garage, spreading to the house. Units arrived to confirm the same. A second alarm was dispatched.

The incident was placed under control at 12:01, with the final units clearing at 2:05PM.

There were no reported injuries.
