Vehicle into a ditch in the Township

At 12/16/2015 8:47 PM on Wednesday, December 16, Station 49 was dispatched, along with mutual aid rescue and EMS units, to the intersection of Churchtown and Plank Roads in Salisbury Township for a vehicle accident with entrapment.

Lancaster County Communications was reporting a single vehicle into a ditch, with the occupant unable to get out.

Units arrived, controlled hazards, and due to the occupant not being trapped, cancelled the Rescue.

Fortunately, the occupant was not injured and refused EMS services.

The incident is under investigation by the PA State Police.

Units cleared the scene at 9:57 PM.
