At 5:45PM on Monday, October 26, Engine 49-1 was dispatched to assist the Gap Fire Company (Station 42) on a motor vehicle collision in the 5600 block of Lincoln Highway on the Gap Hill in Salisbury Township.

Lancaster County Communications advised the responding units of a minivan which had struck a tractor trailer.

Units arrived and controlled hazards and provided patient care, as well as directing traffic around the incident scene.

The final units cleared the scene at 6:45 PM.
