This weekend, seven members of Station 49 were students in an Engine Company Operations Class, conducted by On Scene Training Associates LLC, and sponsored by the Lancaster County Firemen's Association (LCFA).

On Friday evening, the classroom portion was held at the LCFA headquarters building in Lititz.

Saturday's session was held at the LCFA Fire School in West Lampeter Township.

The class covered hoseline deployment, hoseline advancement, and nozzle practices. The instructors covered the common mistakes made by Engine Companies and ways to prevent them.

Thanks to On Scene for the outstanding class, and thank you to the Lancaster County Firemen's Association for sponsoring the class!
