This week marked the official transition for Lancaster County Fire & EMS to move to the county's new radio system

This past Monday at 8AM, Lancaster County Wide Communication changed over all Fire and EMS services to the new P25 UHF digital radio system. The Police radio switched over a coupel of months ago.

Our operating frequency is now "Dispatch B". We are no longer on the low band (33mhz) system for operations but will continue to be dispatched on 33.90 mhz. There may be some residual traffic on the old system, but eventually, that will cease as well.
