West Caln Township Dwelling Fire

At 12:09 PM on Monday, May 4, Station 49 was dispatched for two engines and a tanker to assist the Wagontown Fire Company on a working house fire in the 300 block of Hill Road in West Caln Township.

While enroute, reports were received of multiple subjects trapped in the home.

Units from Honey Brook arrived on the scene with a double wide home fully involved in fire. White Horse units followed by Wagontown units arrived soon after and all units worked cooperatively on fire attack on the home, and a woods fire that was started by the house fire.

Station 49's Ladies Auxiliary was summoned to the scene to provide refreshments to the crews.

Unfortunately, three persons perished in the fire. Our deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of the deceased in this time of great loss.

The final 49 units cleared the scene at 3:18 PM
