Engine, Tanker & Ambulance assist Gap FC

At 10:26 AM on Friday, April 10th, Station 49 was alerted for an engine, tanker and ambulance to assist the Gap Fire Company (Station 42) on a dwelling fire in the 700 block of Stonewood Drive in Salisbury Township

Lancaster County Communications advised that the reporting party was reporting that the water heater in the residence was smoking, but that no flames were visible.

Engine 49-1, Engine 42-2, and Truck 42 all arrived within moments of each other.

Engine 49-1 deployed the front bumper line, while Truck 42 provided positive pressure ventilation to clear the residence of smoke.

Units cleared the scene at 10:52 AM.
