Shortly after 5PM on the afternoon of Saturday, April 4th, Tanker 49 and Squad 49-1 (as a brush unit) were dispatched to assist the Gap Fire Company on a woods fire in the 700 block of Mount Vernon Road in Salisbury Township.

Gap units were with a 1/2 acre of grass and woods involved and requested assistance from White Horse and Christiana Fire Companies.

The White Horse units were clear of the scene at 6:19PM.
