Van vs. Buggy on Meadville Road

At 12:54PM on Sunday, Station 49, along with mutual aid EMS units, was dispatched to the 5900 block of Meadville Road in Salisbury Township for a vehicle accident.

Lancaster County Communications reported a horse & buggy versus a minivan, blocking traffic, with injuries.

Two occupants of the buggy were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Units cleared the scene at 1:47PM.

Local media reports that the buggy pulled into the path of the minivan. There was a fog condition in the area at the time.
