Environmental Rescue at Money Rocks

At 6:21PM on Friday, September 19, Station 49, along with Honey Brook Station 33, and Ephrata Medic 04-40, were dispatched to the Money Rocks County Park on Narvon Road in Salisbury Township for an Environmental rescue.

Upon response, Lancaster County Communications was reporting a female fell approximately 75' off a cliff. Upon reaching the patient, her injuries were deemed severe enough to require evacuation by helicopter. Aeromedical helicopter Pennstar-1 was dispatched to the scene.

The patient was flown to a trauma center for treatment of her injuries.
