On the evening of Friday, January 21, members of White Horse Ambulance and their guests gathered at the firehouse for the annual Ambulance Appreciation Banquet.\

The evenings meal was catered by Shady Maple Smorgasbord.\

The evenings speaker was Harry Moore, Advanced Life Support Coordinator for the Chester County Department of Emergency Services. Harry began his Fire & EMS career in the early 80’s at Station 4-9 before obtaining his Paramedic certification. Harry eventually became a Flight Paramedic for SkyFlightCare in Coatesville for 10 years before joining Chester County DES. Harry’s remarks included memories of his time spent with Station 4-9; as well as touching on the past, present, and future of Emergency Medical Services in Pennsylvania.\

The evening drew to a close with the awarding of the crewmember of the year award, service awards, and appreciation gifts were handed out to crew members and administrative members who volunteered time and talents in 2010. Tokens of appreciation were also handed out to the spouses and significant others in attendance, in recognition of their sacrifices made thoroughout the year.\
