Ambulance assists at Paradise Township building collapse

On the evening of Friday, October 19, A sudden powerful storm cell had passed through eastern Lancaster County.\

At 8:30 PM, Ambulance 49 was dispatched to assist the Paradise-Leaman Place Fire Company (Station 47) on a building collapse with injuries at the Paradise Township Park on London Vale Road in Paradise Township.\
\
Lancaster County Communications reported a pavilion collapse with approximately 50 people under it, with at least 6 persons trapped.\
\
Units arrived on the scene to confirm the structural collapse with utility wires down, with multiple injuries.\
\
Ambulance 49, along with several other ambulances and paramedic units arrived and assisted with EMS operations transferring several injured to three area hospitals for treatment. \
