At 12:12PM on Saturday, July 19, Ambulance 4-9 was dispatched along with Medic 9 (Ephrata Hospital) and Elverson EMS (Station 89) to assist the Honey Brook Fire Company (Station 33) on a vehicle accident in the 7100 block of Division Highway in the Mountain Top section of Salisbury Township.\

Ambulance 4-9 obtained refusals from the two occupants of the SUV, and transported the driver of the sedan to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. Ambulance 89 was cancelled, and Medic 9’s services were not required. Station 33 controlled hazards, and provided traffic control until both vehicles could be removed by Blue Ball Garage.\
