Ambulance assist to Gap on a tractor trailer accident

At 5:07 PM on Wednesday, September 9, Ambulance 4-9 was dispatched to assist the Gap Fire Company (Station 4-2) on a vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer.\

Chief 4-2 (Kurtz) arrived on location with two patients still inside the passenger vehicle. Firefighters from Station 4-2 worked to remove the patients from the wreckage. Ambulance 4-9 transported their patient to a local trauma center for treatment of their injuries, and returned to station within 90 minutes of being dispatched.\
