On the evening of Monday, February 25, crews from the White Horse and Kinzer fire companies met at Salisbury Elementary School to tour the facility. Salisbury Elementary houses grades kindergarten through Grade 5 for children that live within the boundaries of Salisbury Township that attend public school. The school was first built in 1965, and had a major renovation in 2002.\
\
The purpose of the tour was for the fire companies to become familiarized with the layout of the school, and location of the utilities in case there would ever be an emergency at the school. In the event of an emergency, the Gap Fire Company would also be dispatched to the school, but due to prior commitments, Gap was unable to join us for the evening.\
\
The evening proved to be a great refresher for the older members whom have toured the school previously, and a great orientation to the newer members whose first time in the school was this evening.\
\
Thank You to the Pequea Valley School District for allowing us to tour the facility.\
