At 4:28 AM on Tuesday, January 13, the Gordonville Fire Company (Station 4-3), along with mutual aid units were dispatched to the 3300 block of Harvest Drive in Leacock Township for a barn fire. Chief 4-3 (Kauffman) went enroute and was advised by Lancaster County 911 of a fire in the barn with animals inside. Chief Kauffman arrived on the scene with a fully involved barn and requested the second alarm be struck. The fire would eventually be raised to a third alarm.\

Tanker 4-9 was dispatched as part of the second alarm at 4:31. The fire was placed under control at 10:08, and Tanker 4-9 cleared the scene at 11:44.\
