Today is the seventh anniversary of the September 11th tragedies… a day that forever changed our lives.\

Please take a moment and remember the 2,974 persons (not including the hijackers) that lost their lives that terrible day: 246 on the four planes; 2,603 in New York City in the towers and on the ground; and 125 at the Pentagon.\

Among those killed in New York were 343 New York City Fire Department firefighters, 23 New York City Police Department officers, and 37 Port Authority Police Department officers.
