Fire Police assist at Blue Ball 5 Mile Run

On the morning of Saturday, August 30, members of Station 4-9 Fire Police traveled to the East Earl Township Municipal Building to assist the Blue Ball Fire Company (Station 3-2) with traffic control during the annual Blue Ball 5 Mile Run. Numerous Fire Police from Lancaster and Chester Counties were on hand to assist.\

The run started at the township building on Route 322 and traveled over East Earl Road, Witmer Road, Sheep Hill Road, Ranck Road, Rancks Church Road, back on East Earl Road, Musser Road, and back on Route 322 to the finish line where the awards were given out at the township building.\

Station 4-9 Fire Police controlled the following intersections: Witmer & Sheep Hill, Sheep Hill & Dogwood, and Sheep Hill and East Brownstone Ridge.\
