Goodbye Engine 2

On the evening of Thursday, June 5, members gathered at Station 49 to “strip” our now retired 1994 pumper of hose and equipment.

On the morning of June 6, Deputy Chief Beyer and Fire Police Lieutenant Welsh will drive Engine 2 to Fire Line Equipment, where it will be loaded on a flatbed truck and taken to its new home in Scranton, Arkansas. Scranton is in the northwestern part of the state, about 1.5 hours northwest of Little Rock.

We wish Scranton the best of luck with her!
