At 2:41 PM on Saturday, April 12, Tanker 4-9 was dispatched to assist the Martin’s Corner Fire Company (Station 34) on a working building fire at the former All Seasons Resort Complex in the 400 block of Hill Road in West Caln Township. The complex has been abandoned for several years, and several large boulders blocking the main entrance prevented fire apparatus from quickly accessing the scene, and as such, and greatly impeded fire suppression efforts until handlines could be stretched from Engines 34-1 and 34-5 on Hill Road. Eventually, the boulders were moved with the help from a local front end loader, and Engine 33-1 (Honey Brook) accessed the scene, and handlines from Engine 33-1 and the deluge gun were used to extinguish the fire. Tanker 4-9 cleared the scene at 4:06PM, while the final units cleared the scene at 6:38PM. The fire is under active investigation by the Chester County Fire Marshalls and West Caln Township Police Department. Companies on the scene: Martin’s Corner (34); Honey Brook (33); Wagontown (35); Glen Moore (48); Atglen (26); Cochranville (27); White Horse (4-9); Blue Ball (3-2); Christiana (5-2); Chester County Fire Marshalls; and the West Caln Township Police.\

At 3:09PM, Engine 4-9-2 and Ambulance 1-12-1 (Ephrata) were dispatched to transfer to the Honey Brook Fire Company (Station 33), whose units were also at the building fire. Engine 4-9-2 was cancelled at 3:13PM.\
\
Finally to end the busy afternoon, at 4:52PM, Engine 4-9-1 and Ambulance 4-9 were dispatched to the Welsh Mountain Home on Springville Road for a fire alarm activation, the activation proved to be false, and units cleared at 4:59PM.\
