Ambulance and Tanker assist in Paradise Township   By Safety Officer Christopher Eno March 7, 2010   At exactly 12 noon on Sunday, March 7, Tanker 4-9 and Ambulance 4-9 were dispatched to assist the Kinzer Fire Company (Station 4-5) on a barn fire in the 000 block of Frogtown Road in Paradise Township. Lancaster County 911 was reporting a pig barn on fire with animals still inside. Units arrived on the scene, confirming a working fire. Quick work by the first arriving crews held the fire to the room of origin, sparing the rest of the barn. Tanker 4-9 cleared the scene at 12:40, while Ambulance 4-9 cleared the scene at 12:43. The fire is under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshall's Office. Units: Ambulance 4-9, Tanker 4-9   Office area gutted by the fire Vent hole cut to let heat, smoke and gases escape   Chief 4-5 (Brubaker) and PA State Police Troopers investigating the fires origin Quick work by the first in crews held the fire to the room of origin.
