We are please to announce that our 2017 ambulance was placed into service on Saturday, June 10th. It is a 2017 Ford F-450 4 wheel drive ambulance with the body and upfitting competed by LifeLine Emergency Vehicles in Sumter, Iowa.
This is be our 3rd LifeLine Ambulance following our 2006 and 2010/2011 ambulances.
The old ambulance is being kept and will be used on a rotating basis with the new one as needed. We will have one ambulance staffed 24/7, and the second will be staffed as needed or as crew availability permits.
The 1st due unit will be designated as Ambulance 49-1, and the 2nd due will be designated Ambulance 49-2, regardless of the unit being used
