January 5, 2016
On January 5th at 6:39 PM, Station 49 was alerted for an Engine, Tanker and Ambulance to assist the Gap Fire Company (Station 42) on a mobile home fire in the 700 block of Willow Lane in the Crestwood Estates Mobile Home Park in Salisbury Township.
Lancaster County Communications advised that the caller stated the trailer in front of the their home was on fire, stating that there was fire showing from the side of the trailer, and unknown if anyone was home. Minutes later, officers from Station 42 arrived on scene with smoke showing, and soon confirmed a working fire. A quick check confirmed that all residents were evacuated.
Units from Gap, White Horse, Christiana, and Paradise collaboratively worked together to extinguish the fire and overhaul the remainder of the trailer.
The fire was placed under control at 7:29 PM, with the final units cleared at 9:09 PM
