Station 49 along with an Ambulance from Station 33 (Honey Brook) were dispatched at 11:27AM to the 6000 block of Wertztown Rd in Salisbury Township for a Gas Leak. The resident was reporting an odor of gas inside the residence. Engine 33-2 (Honey Brook) was dispatched to assist with the gas meter. Crews checked the residence with the gas meter and found all readings for gas to be negative. The smell was determined to be an unlit pilot light on the cook stove. Crews ventilated the residence by opening up the windows & doors. Chief 49 (Gossert) had Command 49. Station 49 was available at 12:09PM.
